Christmas Collection 1994

 

The GB balloon was actually photographed passing over a friend's house in Sweden, and was facing the other way - but that would have made the picture unbalanced. That year we also bought some new decorations for the Christmas tree -including a small Santa balloon. Since it was not practical to print all the cards in colour at home, we produced one master copy, and had it Colour copied about 150 times in Reading. The printer drivers were more basic in those days, and the electronically blended sky on the card suffered from the brightness changing in steps. The cards we printed earlier, for overseas distribution, used the original sky, and did not noticeably suffer in this respect. This was one of the first uses we made of Photodesk, and the Acorn RiscPC
