August Update (3): Viaduct and Branchline Barnstaple Junction East

Rocoline Pointwork replaces Profi-Track Points and Double Slip for the Test Loops at 'Halwill Junction'
A Single Slip is in reserve, but a simpler Diamond crossing is installed (Torrington to Down, Ilfracombe to Up Line)
The GWR winding branchline (4% Incline) is relaid with ballasted Rocoline Radius 4 (485mm) in place of UK Set track Radius 3

Down in the Valley: The Tourist/ Logging Mixed Gauge Line and Monorail Cross the Valley
Sawmills will support the local Logging Industry ('Chapelton Sawmills') supplying RGB and Shapland & Petter
Winter Sports are supported with the Cable Car crossing the valley, providing good views of the Viaduct

Bachmann Class 108 climbs the branch, with an RDC1 not far behind!
The Viaduct is now laid with Rocoline ballasted track, which justs fits in the space available

Both Branch and Mainlines are now Code 83 Rocoline. Very Large Radius Point used in the Yard Headshunt
Signalling will be mostly Semaphore, using morised Hornby Dublo signal posts with ScaleLink etched SR/LSWR Arms

Adjustments at Barnstaple (East) are a Double Slip replacing the Single Slip previously used for the Branch
and a Special Single Piece Diamond Crossing and Adjacent Tracks for the Crossover from the Yard and Headshunt.
The Roco LKAB IORE loco-pair is a long way from home in the Artic Circle!
The Open Air Swimming Pool (with swimming swimmers) is located between the Cricket Pitch and Turntable

Spot the Differences: The IORE gas been replaced by a Lilliput DB CLass 5, and the Turntable has been moved...
... because Rocoline Points have spread across the Entry Side of Barnstaple Yard...
The debris has moved from the Turntable to the Swimming Pool!

The realignment was to allow space for the Heljan Coaling Tower Kit alongside the Shed Road
This was achieved with 5 more Rocoline Points, with embedded motors, in place of Peco/Tillig Points and Drives

The new alignment has aminimum of reverse curvature, and unified design.
The tracks in the Yard remain Peco Code 75 and pointwork - where the surface will be raised to sleeper/rail level.
