The Charity Stall will be available for SOFTWARE, BOOKS, MAGAZINES and 'SUBASSEMBLIES' ONLY
As a result of recycling legislation we will NOT be able to accept ANY MAINS POWERED or BULKY HARDWARE for the Charity Stall -
Please do not bring any with you.
(We will NOT be able to PAT TEST any Mains Equipment during the Show, and would have to PAY to DUMP anything left over)
Note: APDL and CJE Micro's are prepared to accept certain mains powered items: CONTACT THEM BEFORE coming to the show
Proceeds from the Charity Stand, and Profits from the Catering will go to Chase Hospice - locally in Guildford
SUBASSEMBLIES
We can accept 'subassemblies' such as Memory Chips, ROMS, Podules, Backplanes, and Disk Drives
Why not use Comp.Sys.Acorn.Misc newsgroup under heading 'SE Show Charity Item'
to pre-announce what subassembly or Software you are donating?
(And what time you are likely to arrive) to encourage others to seek a bargain!
